Dear Member,

"People tend to think that they need to talk to be noticed and remembered. However, listening can be the key to having people remember you." Donna Fisher, People Power, pg. 107

We all want and need to be better communicators. One of the most difficult aspects of communication is the skill of listening. No one does it perfectly, and no one does it right 100% of the time.

How many times are we multi-tasking when at work? We are talking on the phone, typing on the computer, or reading a report - rather than listening to the person.

How many times are we multi-tasking when at home? Our spouse, child, sibling or parent wants to talk with us and we are too busy reading, watching TV, working on the computer, or daydreaming.

Maybe it is time to practice the skill of listening with everyone. Let's be known as great listeners, not great speakers. THAT is what I am going to work on!

Please Help Spread The Word

A dear friend and business colleague of mine, Karin Hall of QCSS did a wonderful "mitzvah" for me. She composed a letter that she sent to her contact list with a link to my website for membership. It was very well worded and we have had a great influx of members due to Karin's initiative.

Please email me for a copy of the letter so that you can send it to your contact list. We all know at least 250 people - Shouldn't they all benefit from the free website?

I thank you all in advance.
